28 weeks done – 28 weeks to go

We are halfway with Boeta’s treatment.  It feels like we barely started and it feels like we should be done already.

After 6 days and 5 nights of continuous pre-hydration, chemo and post-hydration Boeta is home.  He started on Monday with Etoposide and Ifosphomide and he was ready to get out of there today.  He hasn’t been nauseous once this whole week and is looking very well.

I am completely drained emotionally after this week.  It’s been a tough one.

So now I am going to bid you adieu.  I can’t wait to get to church tomorrow.  I need some spiritual recharging.

  1. I’m glad the week went well despite it being emotionally draining. I’m so happy you are halfway already and even though it sometimes feels as if time just simply doesn’t want to move fast enough, you’ll soon get there.

    Hugs, thoughts and prayers!!!!

  2. Half way is a big milestone. Hope you feel recharged soon x
